Audi Australia has launched the Audi Q7 V12 6.0 TDI quattro.
"The Audi Q7 V12 TDI is the most powerful diesel SUV on the road, with 368kW of power and an incredible 1000Nm.
Its twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre diesel engine is related to the powerplant used in the triple-Le Mans-winning Audi R10, establishing Audi’s close link between its road-going performance cars and its highly successful motorsport program.
This powerhouse leads a more elegant and efficient range of Q7 models which have arrived in Australia – pitched as a high-performance vehicle for leisure and business."

Porsche 911 Turbo
Nice driving with the Porsche 911 Turbo
"It's faster to 60 mph than a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, McLaren F1 or Ferrari Enzo. Porsche's fastest offerings, including the Carrera GT, GT2 and road-going 911 GT1 "Strassenversion" will only see its LED tail lamps during a typical sprint. Only the unlikely – make that incomprehensible – meeting of an SSC Ultimate Aero or Bugatti Veyron at a stop light will concern this car's owner that he or she has met a worthy adversary. The vehicle is the new seventh-generation 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo. Sporting a new 500-horsepower engine mated to the automaker's lightning-fast dual-clutch PDK transmission, the all-wheel drive coupe devours the magic 0-60 mph benchmark in less than 3.2 seconds."

VW Scirocco R
Article about the VW Scirocco R:
"How does the new VW Scirocco ride? Like an over-firm pogo stick?
Nope. One of the key reasons for awarding this car five stars (it's that good) is its well modulated ride. The same pneumatically operated, three-way dampers feature, allowing Comfort and Sport modes, and it rides far better than a bobbly Focus RS or Audi S3.
Body control is never an issue and the uprated brakes are well up to the job of hauling down all that speed. And the Scirocco R is fast: 62mph passes in a brisk 6.4sec."

Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro - the best Audi ever
Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro is the best Audi ever:
"Zero to 60 races up at 3.7 seconds and top track speed is electronically limited to just 196.4 miles per hour. It will complete the quarter mile in less than 12 seconds.
However, there is one thing you should know. All that power is accessible virtually throughout the rpm range. Just exercise your right foot and this puppy takes off with the sweetest sounds this side of the 24 hours of LeMans.
This does something to guys. In the parking garage at work there is an older attendant who takes great pride in his place and customers. He was in the booth as I left one day after enjoying the thunderous sounds of the V10 echoing off the concrete walls. Upon exit, he cracked a big smile and waved smartly. He knew what this was all about.
Handling is supercar quick and the feedback is racetrack positive. You know what this car is up to at all times. Audi's excellent all-wheel-drive certainly aids the effort. Body lean is virtually non-existent; the seats keep you solidly in place and the rather large 235/35R19 tires up front with the 295/30R/19s to the rear are good anchors too."
